This is a peice of work that I have completed for my extending specialist techniques unit at college. I wanted too express my 'inner voice', i feel i have done quite well; usually when I'm working I take quite a lot of care too make sure everything is perfect and now i have tried too make it look a little less 'perfectionist'. The whole pont in this painting is too prove that you can defy the rules, in this case the rules of typography. i also wanted too use black as the defient side of this painting comes from within, it is quite a large part too play in my life and due too this i wanted it too be quite bold, as for the pink, too me it signifies an almost cheeky side. hope everyone likes it :)!

I have been looking at sculpture for my Extending Specialist Techniques unit at college, bein interested in typography i have been looking at people who use such a thing in their work. Ebon Heath uses typography a lot in his sculpture's, because of this i was quite taken back. I found that his work was quite elegant and good flowing although looking quite rough, to me his work is quite inspiring. I will definately be using this as a building block for developement in extending my specialst techniques.

Photography
Whist doing my unit on Location Photography, i was looking at a phtographer called Otto Steinert. I found his work had a different kind of feel too it from what you would usually find in historical and contemporary photographers. It has an eerie feeling too it, and for tis reason i felt i sould share it....enjoy!
